This makes the ship feel intuitive to navigate and gives each area a distinct vibe — from the travel‑themed digital spectacle of the Gateway Zone, to 820 Biscayne, a zone styled after South Beach and Little Havana, to the high‑energy thrills of the Ultimate Playground. The Celebration Central Zone is the vibrant heart of Carnival Celebration — a multi‑level atrium that blends ocean views, entertainment, dining, and nightlife into one dynamic space. By day, it’s a bright, panoramic lounge with floor‑to‑ceiling windows overlooking the sea. By night, it transforms into a high‑energy entertainment venue with immersive shows, live music, comedy, and specialty dining all within steps of one another. This zone acts as Celebration’s central hub, connecting guests to signature Excel‑Class experiences while offering a seamless flow between bars, restaurants, and performance spaces.

    PERSONAL NOTE: If when you hear the word fusion or see a restaurant that is a advertised as Mexican meets Chinese, you think of a blending of these flavors, then you are in the same boat…. or on the same ship as it were… with me. Unfortunately, It’s less of a fusion restaurant, and more of a Chinese restaurant and a Mexican restaurant that share the same dining space, and frankly, I didn’t think either cuisine was done well. Honestly, I feel like this one just misses its mark and the potential for it’s concept.

This zone seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a warm, open environment that invites guests to linger. The vibe is distinctly Southern‑coastal, with rustic wood textures, soft amber lighting, and plenty of comfortable seating for socializing. Think backyard barbecue meets beach club. NOTE: This zone is identical across all three Excel‑class ships.

  • Emeril’s Bistro 1397 (A La Carte Menu / Additional $): New Orleans‑inspired dishes, fresh seafood, and comfort food. (DECK 6)

    PERSONAL NOTE: In general, I like the Emeril’s Bistro selections I have tried. Each Excel class ship has a slightly different menu with one or two items that are exclusive to that ship, but what I love the most are the shrimp and Grits. These are also available throughout the fleet on the Seaday Brunch Menu, but they are somehow more delicious from the Emeril’s Bistro locations. That also applies to the Beignets: if you’ve had them at Seaday Brunch I’m sure you probably were not impressed.  Here, they are absolutely amazing! Soft moist and piping hot form the oil, dusted with powdered sugar and dipped in chocolate or strawberry compote! Don’t judge theses by what you’ve had in the MDR.

  • Fahrenheit 555 (Additional $): Although not technically themed to the Currents area, this is the closest zone to where you will find the traditional Carnival Steakhouse favorite. (DECK 7)

    PERSONAL NOTE: This really is a great steakhouse, and the space it occupies on Jubilee is absolutely a step up, including the addition of a bar accessible to guests who are not dining in the restaurant. A classic steakhouse experience is one of my favorite meals because for one, it reminds me of my Dad and secondly, because when done right I think a steak is hard to beat, when it comes to a fully satisfying meal, and Fahrenheit 555 absolutely does it right. My go-to is a ribeye and their signature Yukon Gold mashed potatoes

    The Carnivale & Festivale Restaurants sit just outside the Gateway Zone, but the transition is seamless even though each dining room has its own distinct décor. These are Celebration’s two main dining rooms; one typically used for set‑time dining and the other for Your Time Dining.

The Currents Zone is a deep‑sea‑themed environment that celebrates the motion and mystery of the ocean itself. Currents surrounds guests with digital walls, flowing LED lighting, and aquatic soundscapes that make you feel as though you’re traveling beneath the waves. The entire space transitions throughout the day — calm and ambient in the morning, then vibrant and dynamic at night

  • Latitudes:  Latitudes is a travel‑themed bar that blends vintage departure‑board style décor with a airport inspired atmosphere. It’s where cocktails and design elements celebrate destinations from around the world. (DECK 6)

  • Golden Jubilee Bar:  The Golden Jubilee Bar is an architecture themed lounge that pays tribute to Carnival’s 50-year legacy. This is where you will find artifacts and memorabilia from past ships on display, making it a living museum of Carnival’s evolution. (DECK 6)

  • Alchemy Bar: Carnival’s iconic “cocktail pharmacy,” offering handcrafted drinks and mixology‑driven creations. Its location is technically considered part of Celebration Central but it’s seating overlooking deck 6 flows naturally into the Gateway Zone. (DECK 7)

  • Digital Travel Displays: Massive LED walls with animated travel and destination themed visuals that shift throughout the day.

  • Carnival Kitchen: Carnival’s hands‑on cooking studio offering specialty instructor‑led classes and fun culinary activities. While it isn’t officially part of the Currents Zone theme, the venue is physically located within the Currents Zone area on the ship. You can sign up for classes like you would an excursion and there is an additional cost per person.

  • Carnival History Scavenger Hunt: Within the app under the Golden Jubilee menu, you’ll find a key to the historic artifacts and décor featured throughout the bar and nearby spaces. Spend some time searching for the items and appreciate Carnival’s legacy.

  • Miami Slice: Casual pizzeria serving hand‑tossed pies with an Art Deco vibe. Traditional pizzas are complimentary but they do offer 2 specialty pizzas for an additional charge.

The 820 Biscayne zone is a vibrant, Art Deco‑inspired space that captures the essence of Miami’s golden era. Its design evokes the city’s coastal glamour and mid‑century architecture. The atmosphere feels like a lively tribute to South Florida’s culture. Just outside this zone on the Lanai is where you will find one of the 2 smoking areas on the ship.

  • Lido Marketplace: The ship’s main buffet with diverse stations serving comfort classics, salads, and international dishes. (DECK 16)

  • Shaq’s Big Chicken: Home-style crispy chicken sandwiches, tenders, and fries inspired by Shaquille O’Neal’s favorite flavors.  The sauce lineup is one of the best parts of the experience including Shaq’s signature sauce; a tangy, slightly sweet, creamy blend similar to a kicked‑up comeback sauce. The Lido Deck is the vibrant heart of the ship, where sun, sea, and fun converge. It features expansive pools, whirlpools creating a tropical atmosphere perfect for relaxation or celebration. In this zone you can enjoy casual dining and drinks with panoramic ocean views. By day it’s a sun-soaked retreat, and by night it transforms into a dazzling venue for deck parties and movies under the stars.

It’s designed as a place to move, explore, and take in the ocean from a higher vantage point. There are no food or beverage outlets in this area so, you’ll need to bring your own beverage and snacks up from Lido.

LOCATION: DECK 17-18-19 (Aft)

Cruise ships often feature exclusive areas designed for specific guests, offering a more private or elevated experience. These spaces might include serene adults‑only retreats, luxurious suite‑guest enclaves, or specialty lounges reserved for those who’ve booked premium accommodations. Access is typically limited and you may need to pay an additional fee, meet an age requirement, or book a qualifying cabin type to enter. The Serenity Adults‑Only Retreat on Carnival Cruise Line ships is a designed exclusively for guests 21 and older. Tucked away from the main decks, it features plush loungers, shaded clamshells, whirlpools, and a dedicated bar serving craft cocktails in a quiet, ocean‑view setting. Serenity connects directly to Loft 19, an exclusive suite‑guest enclave offering private cabanas, concierge service, and a secluded infinity pool. Together, these spaces form Jubilee’s most tranquil retreat — a sophisticated contrast to the ship’s otherwise lively energy.
